How to Use Forex Trading Hours Efficiently

Forex 291

Forex trading hours are Sunday evening to Friday afternoon, U.S. time. So how to use this time efficiently? Let me introduce it to you below.

There are two main Forex trading sessions, the Asian trading session and the integration of the European and American trading sessions, we call the latter the main trading session.

During major Forex trading sessions, market participation is higher and all major markets trade at the same time, so daily movements are stronger. Trading volumes and liquidity are also much higher compared to Asian market sessions. Sustainable trading entries can occur every five days of the week. If a currency pair is trading on a daily or weekly chart, you can usually capture most entry points if you get good entry signals on the alert system.

Entering a new trend following the consolidation that began during the major Forex trading sessions will keep success levels high. If a currency pair has been running for several hours before you pay attention to it, don't trade it. Trade entry signals may occur on any of the 8 major currency groups during the main trading session, or supplementary trades may be sought during the main trading session on unplanned or set currency pairs.

Asian trading session volatility and institutional market participation may be 20% of the main trading session. If you only trade during the Asian session, you will never or rarely be able to trade against the USD, GBP, EUR, CHF or CAD currency pairs, except maybe once a month when the quotes may pull back, which is a losing business.

In the London Forex market, the largest transaction is the GBP/USD transaction. There are about 600 Forex banking institutions involved in Forex transactions, including domestic clearing banks, merchant banks, other commercial banks, discount companies and foreign banks.

The New York Forex market is one of the important international Forex markets, with its daily trading volume second only to London. The New York Forex market is also an invisible market. Participants are branches of large commercial banks and foreign banks in the United States. Well-known Chinese-funded institutions include the New York Branch of the Bank of China and some professional Forex brokers. Forex transactions in the New York Forex market are divided into three levels: Forex transactions between banks and customers, Forex transactions between domestic banks, and Forex transactions between domestic banks and foreign banks.
